Check it before you pay: motorbike, phone, apartment

eno is not part of the deal. There is no escrow and the platform never holds your money. You pay in person, so inspect in person. Meet in daylight, in a public place. Bring a friend if the item is expensive. Motorbike: • Start it yourself from cold. A warm engine hides problems. • Check the frame and engine numbers match the blue card (cà vẹt), and that the name on it is the person selling. • Look at the chain, tyres, brakes, fork seals, and under the seat for rust. Phone: • Check the IMEI in settings matches the box, and that it is not iCloud or account locked. Have them sign out in front of you. • Test every camera, both speakers, the mic, charging, Face ID, and every corner of the touchscreen. • Read battery health in settings, not from the seller's mouth. Apartment or room: • Ask to see the owner's ID and papers, or the written authorisation if it is an agent. • Check water pressure, hot water, aircon, phone signal, and the real bill amounts. • Visit once in the evening. Noise and neighbours change after dark. Never send a deposit for something you have not seen. If someone insists, report the listing and walk away.
