Why can't I put my phone number in the listing text?

If a phone number, email address, link or social handle appears in the title, the description or any other public field, the post is refused. Nothing is deleted quietly. You get an error and you fix it. The check also catches numbers written to hide them: the word zalo followed by digits, digits spelled out in words, or a house number in the description. Why the rule exists: • Public numbers get harvested and then flooded with spam and scam calls. Yours, and later the buyer's. • If contact moves off the platform from the first second, nothing about the deal can be checked afterwards. No chat record, no report, no dispute case. • Putting a number in the text is the oldest trick for stealing a real seller's photos and pretending to be them. You lose nothing. Your phone or Zalo is shown to a buyer inside the conversation as soon as you reply to them. Real buyers reach you in one message. Bots do not. The same rule applies when you edit a listing later.
